Member of the shareholding family will now succeed Richard Schmidhofer / focusing even more on international expansion and development .
Andreas Moessner is now the new CFO of Laempe & Moessner GmbH. The 33-year-old industrial engineer joins the world market leader of core shop technology ,succeeding Richard Schmidhofer, who has left the company after two years. The technical management of the company will remain unchanged with Rudolf Wintgens.
Andreas Moessner has been responsible for the development of the Chinese subsidiary – special machinery manufacturer. With this appointment the focus will be more targeted on the international expansion and development of new markets. “The coming years will be the trend for the industry. We are convinced that, especially as sales-oriented internationalization is the key to sustainable success. We want to go down this route with Andreas Moessner, ” said Werner Moessner, associate of Laempe & Moessner GmbH.

Continuity in the sense of the family business
The change in management is also a signal for continuity in the family: After Werner Moessner has acquired the remaining shares of the company founder’s family Laempe , at the end of last year, the company is now 100 percent owned by the family Moessner. “Against this background, we decided to focus even more closely in engaging in corporate responsibility.This process has now been successfully launched with the appointment of Andreas Moessner as a member of the family of partners,” said Werner Moessner.
Andreas Moessner is a graduate of the Technical University of Karlsruhe, after graduating he initially worked for three years for the international consulting company PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Since 2009, he held various positions at Laempe & Moessner, including as director of corporate development. Here Andreas Moessner made a major contribution to integrate the acquired Laempe & Moessner machine manufacturer ,Hottinger and Röperwerk successfully. Also, the design and the implementation of the new brand identity, which was necessary in the wake of acquisitions, became his responsibility. From 2011 onwards, Andreas Moessner was CEO of Laempe & Moessner (Beijing) Co. Ltd., Foundry Equipment.
