Toshiba Machine Company America has opened its first service center in Mexico. Located in Puerto Interior, Silao, Guanajuato, the new facility will offer local service and support to injection molding and die casting customers throughout the country.
“This is a thriving market for us,” said Toshiba Machine America General Manager Tom McKevitt. “With our new service center, we can pursue additional injection molding business in this fast-growing Mexican market and back it up with the support that Toshiba is known for providing to its customers.”
According to McKevitt, having locally-based service engineers is a major advantage. “They have the in-depth knowledge and technical expertise needed to quickly, easily help our injection molding and die casting machine customers maximize the productivity of their systems,” he said.
The office’s location in the Nippon Express Guanajuato Logistics Center business and industrial hub in central Mexico puts it in close proximity to major manufacturers and a variety of transportation options.
