Turkey is ranked second in iron, steel and malleable iron castings and third in nonferrous metal castings in Europe. Capacity utilization rate is 65% in iron and steel Casting, but 90% in diecasting. Being aware of this fact, Turkish metalcasters are keen on investing in diecasting while keeping their existing market shares in their already established production range. This creates a lot of opportunities for machinery, material and technology suppliers to the diecasting industry.
The next edition of ANKIROS/ANNOFER/TURKCAST 2018 exhibition trio will be organized by Hannover-Messe Ankiros A.S. between October 25-27, 2018, in Istanbul, Turkey, in conjunction with two well established international congresses, namely the 10th International Foundry Congress by Turkish Foundrymen Association and the 19th International Metallurgy and Materials Congress by Turkish Chamber of Metallurgy and Materials Engineers.
This trade fair trio has become the largest and most prestigious foundry event of Eurasia aiming to bring together all elements of the Eurasian Foundry Industry under one roof. Taking place every two years since 1992, the fairs are establishing a reputation as one of the major shows for the global foundry industry.
The 2016 edition of this exhibition trio was a great success as 985 exhibitors from 45 countries, around 15,000 industry professionals from all around the world, gathered on the 22.072m² net stand area. Stand reservations of the leading suppliers to foundries are progressing faster than ever for ANKIROS/ANNOFER/TURKCAST 2018 fairs, which are gaining more and more corporate attention. These trade fairs will play an important role in the metallurgy industry and bring great business opportunities again.
Due to the facts given earlier, there is a rapidly growing section for diecasting in ANKIROS and leading suppliers to the foundry industry have already secured their stand spaces.
